Our Story
As a young man, Mauricio Tena started working in Construction and worked in residential
building for 22 years. During that time, Mauricio worked in different roles and gained much
knowledge and experience in hardscape and landscape. His excellent skills, attention to detail,
wealth of knowledge and great customer service were noticeable and commended by the clients
he served. When he and his family relocated to Placer County, he decided to offer his
experience, skills, personalized service and wealth of knowledge in the Landscape and
Hardscape industries to customers, and this is how Tenas Landscape was born. A family-owned
company who strive to offer the best customer service and experience to its customers. We are
an honest, reliable and responsible company whose goals are to meet and exceed our customers’
